BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Kamalika Chakraborty is a Fellow from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta and is an Assistant Professor at IFIM Business School, Bangalore. Her doctoral thesis, titled ‘An investigation into coping in NGOs in Third World countries’, explores strategizing in transition economies, characterized by multiplicity of institutions. Prior to joining IFIM Business School, she was associated with MYRA School of Business as an Assistant Professor in the area of Strategy and Management. Her main research areas of interest include strategizing under institutional transition, organizational theory, strategy as practice, social entrepreneurship, post-colonial perspectives in management, alternate forms of organizing. She has presented papers in international conferences and published her work in international journals like Critical Perspectives on International Business and Social Enterprise Journal and has also received awards for her research work. Prior to her PhD, she was working with Indian Oil Corporation Limited for three years as a Process Engineer.
